Testimonials
I came to Dr. Gaily hoping to get relief from tension headaches. They were consuming all my free time! The headaches were frequent, at least once a week, and as strong as migraines. They were affecting my ability to sleep, work, and athletics. The medical doctors at the clinic prescribed Motrin and Midrin, but pills weren't helping any more.
I've had four chiropractors between 1998 and 2003, but hadn't been to one in well over a year before meeting Dr. Gaily. The others all helped, but I always felt the need to go frequently for adjustments to stay pain free. Since coming to Dr. Gaily and seeing the difference using the GONSTEAD method, I can tell a tremendous difference between his type of chiropractic care and the others I had in the past. About 2-3 weeks into the treatment plan I realized I'd been headache free for far longer than normal. After a month, the headaches were gone entirely. I feel like my back and neck are staying in place on their own. I don't feel the need to come for an adjustment on random days. Somehow the treatment prevents the headaches from happening at all, rather than just treating the symptoms after they occur.
Back to the athletics I'm a runner and weight-lifter, and have been for years. During the treatment plan I mentioned I was having foot pain from an injury that occurred during marathon training a few months prior. I recovered from a torn ligament in my foot, but once I started running again I had pain and swelling after training runs. I certainly didn't think he could do anything to help, but I was wrong. Over a couple of sessions he made adjustments in the arch of my foot and seriously relieved the pain and swelling I experienced after long runs. It's a relief now to do 10 miles or more and not limp afterwards.
I'd like to thank Dr. Gaily and Adrienne for all they've done. It's been a great experience health wise, and also nice just to come into their office. Adrienne is a highly professional and caring office manager, and goes out of her way to make all the patients feel welcome. I'm very happy with the treatment results and feel good for the first time in a long time!

Wow, was I scared! For the first time in my life, I needed help to get out of bed. Once upright, when I tried to walk, my left leg crumpled under me. I had a sharp pain in my lower back. I called a friend who had experienced back problems and asked her who her doctor was. She recommended Dr. Gaily. Dr. Gaily explained my condition after X-rays and a thorough examination. Treatment would require several spinal adjustments, ice packs, progressive exercises and guarded physical activity limitation. Thus began my recovery. Dr Gaily thoroughly explained the purpose and methodology of each adjustment. He was also very gentle and effective with each adjustment. As a result, not only has my lower back been restored to full function and comfort, I have greater mobility in my upper back, shoulders, and neck which had been somewhat limited as the result of degenerative disc disease. I am extremely pleased with my treatment and recovery experience, and am also very appreciative for the opportunity to learn about my health.

With more then 15 international triathlon wins, my career has taken me further then I ever dreamed possible. However, this success has not come without physical and mental (some would consider this to be incurable HA!!!) challenges.
In addition to overcoming a brain tumor in 1998, followed by a string of health complications, a car accident in 2001 left me with a ruptured disk in my back. Since that time success in my sport has required a high degree of pain management treatment to ensure optimal performance while preventing further complications with my back.
In May of 2004 I had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Gaily! At that time my pain was winning the battle and I was eager to explore new treatment alternatives . Dr. Gaily answered the call as he not only performed his unique method of treatment, but effectively explained why the Gonstead technique truly is different from other Chiropractic treatments. It is exciting to realize that the more Dr. Gaily helps stabilize my spine...the more the pain subsides and in turn my performance improves.
Also very impressive is his commitment to combining accurate nutritional information to assist in the overall care and education of his clients. This respect for both treatment in the office and personal control through further education out of the office is a powerful combination that the majority of chiropractic professionals do not provide!
Lastly, and possibly most important to me, is the reality of partnering with someone who shares the same foundation behaviors of integrity, ethics, compassion, and professionalism that I strive for. Dr. Gaily is special and I would encourage any and all to join the Gaily Team and experience the Gonstead difference!

God gives us 24 hours in a day. Over what period of time remains a mystery to us all. While on this earth, he wants us to be productive no matter who we are or what our circumstances. As I get older, I realize more now than ever that my productivity is linked, not just to my creativity, but also to my health.
That said, although I may go in once a year for physical check ups and twice a year for dental care, I have come to recognize the value of regular scheduled treatment of my spine/back. One look at a chart and you can see how the back is the body's Super Hiway. Filling in the potholes and keeping the road clean make the difference between an uneventful ride or one filled with discomfort. At age 50, my hopes are that regular maintenance thru Chiropractic Care will keep me feeling young, healthy and productive. After only a few short months, I have already noticed the difference.
Thanks to you and your staff for attention to my well being. Rick Barnett
Our grandson, Conner, is 8 years old. Over the last year or so he had been experiencing severe leg pain two to three times per week. The pain was so great that it would wake him numerous times during the night. After seeing his pediatrician several times we became extremely frustrated with the diagnosis that was offered and even more so with the suggested treatment. Conner was told to take Motrin for the pain, and the doctor hoped he would eventually grow out of it. We were not satisfied with that explanation and treatment so we started looking for other avenues to explore. I was not sure that chiropractic was the answer, but was willing to try. In October of 2003, Conner started seeing Dr. Gaily. He found that Conner had a subluxation in his low back that was causing his leg pain. To our amazement, after only a few adjustments, Conner's frequent leg pain had almost completely disappeared. We are so thankful that chiropractic has offered Conner relief from his pain. We are very pleased.

I was as a skeptic about going to a chiropractor from the very start. I've heard mixed reviews about people's experiences with chiropractors and I was fearful of letting someone "mess around" with my spine and central nervous system. All I could think about was the damage that one could do when adjusting my spine, if not properly trained. However, I was only 6 weeks away from my first Olympic triathlon and I was running out of options. I couldn't run more than a mile or cycle for more than 20 minutes due to an excruciating pain in my right hip. Medical doctors recommended I just "stay off" the hip till it stops hurting but I wasn't ready to call it quits on my triathlon training. There had to be a better option beyond just "staying off" an injury.
Dr. Gaily came highly recommended to me by a friend of mine who had been experiencing similar sports-related injuries. When looking at my x-rays, Dr. Gaily walked through the analysis process with me and showed me how spinal and hip adjustments could eliminate the pain I was experiencing. I could actually see that my hip was awkwardly turned and how the impact of running was causing my pain. I left my initial assessment very confident of Dr. Gaily's competency level and his ability to heal my injury. Nonetheless, I was still apprehensive about the actual cost of treatment. My military insurance didn't cover the visits and the multitude of initial visits seemed quite costly. However, in retrospect, it was worth every penny.
I followed Dr. Gaily's instructions, took it easy on the running aspect of my training for a few weeks, iced my hip often, and attended all recommended treatments. The week before my triathlon (4 weeks into treatment), I was completely symptom free! It had been over three months since I was able to run pain free. I continued treatment with Dr. Gaily and did another triathlon 6 weeks after my first. I still visit Dr. Gaily's office for monthly adjustments. No longer am I skeptical about chiropractory. In fact, I'm a strong advocate of belief system behind chiropractory. It makes sense that the spine, which shelters one's central nervous system is the center of one's entire body and well being. I'd recommend that anyone feeling strains, pains, discomfort OF ANY KIND visit with Dr. Gaily.

Dr. Gaily,
I want to thank you for making a huge difference in my life. Because of your diligent chiropractic care I have thus far avoided surgery for my carpal tunnel syndrome. I can't thank you enough for the huge effort you have given me and my family.
Best always......Wayne Rainey (3 Time Motorcycle Grand Prix World Champion)
While I was a teenager, I injured my back twice. The first time resulted from a car accident, the second from pulling someone out of a pool while life guarding. For the car accident, my insurance suggested I go to a physical therapist, which I hated! So I pretty much just left my back damaged and untreated. My back hurt a lot of the time, even to the point of affecting my job as a swim instructor. Over the years it's just something I've had to deal with, getting an occasional massage to help. Once I could hardly walk for a week.
In May of this year, I was in another car accident, and this time I was really sore. My neck, shoulder and chest were bruised and my back was extremely sore. I was taking Codeine and staying off of work. Finally I agreed to go to the chiropractor, freaked out that I would be getting my neck cracked and my back stepped on.
Dr. Gaily was really nice and explained everything to my mom and me. Thank God my mom forced me to go! Even though we couldn't really afford the treatment, since my insurance wouldn't cover it, God provided. And Dr. Gaily was really cool about payment arrangements. To top it all off, my back is hardly even sore anymore, my posture is improved 100% and I feel great. I can play with my 7 year old sister more; even teaching her some new swim moves.
I now recommend Dr. Gaily to everyone I know!
God Bless, Crystal
It all began a few months ago. I had gone for a nice, long power walk. After returning home and making lunch I sat on the couch and that's when something pulled in my lower back. By the end of the day, the pain radiated from my lower back, down my left leg all the way to my foot. No problem, I thought, this will heal in a few days like the other times my back had given me trouble. Boy was I wrong! The deep aching pain did not subside, and I found I could not sit for more than 10 minutes, or drive very far, or go for walks anymore. When my family would go for a long drive, I would lay in the back seat on the side that didn't hurt. The muscle spasms were also intense, and there seemed to be no relief. Waking up every two hours became a normal event and eventually I was limping. However, I still believed "it would go away." Many times, I would be in tears, exhausted from the constant, intense aching, and lack of sleep.
Many of my friends had been to Dr. Gaily and had been encouraging me to go see him, but I was stubborn and thought my condition would improve with time. Also, fear was a factor for me! Having never seen a chiropractor before, my mind could only recall the many negative stories I had heard.
Six weeks after my injury and desperate, I went to see Dr. Gaily. His warm friendliness, sincere concern, and knowledge of what was wrong with my back was such a relief and comfort for me. Dr. Gaily took x-rays and explained what the x-rays revealed about my condition. I had deteriorating discs in my lower lumbar area. It's funny how all of my life I was so careful about other areas of my health, but my spine was not a priority for me. Dr. Gaily was also very encouraging, explaining that my back would improve, but it would take some time due to other old injuries I had not attended to.
The process was a long one, just as he had said, but through Dr. Gaily's perseverance, gentle and regular adjustments, and regular ice therapy, I am now nearly pain free!! I am going for long walks now, and have been able to drive to Southern California with no repercussions! Life has returned to normal. My two sons are now seeing Dr. Gaily, my oldest having had migraines every week for months, but after one adjustment his migraines are gone!
There are not enough words to describe how much I appreciate Dr. Gaily and his wonderful wife, Adrienne. They have touched my life in many ways by their thoughtfulness, kindness, integrity, and generosity. It is a wonderful feeling to be able to tell my friends and family who are in pain, of a place they can go and get the best care. It is a comfort to me, also, to know the ones I love are in good hands.

Dear Dr. Gaily and Staff,
I consider myself to be "lifetime chiropractic patient" not for the removal of pain (though it has certainly done that over the years) but for the key addition it provides to my personal wellness plan. I have received chiropractic care in 2 countries and in across the United States. Chiropractic care is a priority that has healed a chronic back problem that I had 15 years ago and that has helped me through pregnancy, childbirth and my mothering years (which involves lots of lifting of sweet, chubby babies for me).
When we moved to the Peninsula last year, our family focus was clear: find a home, find a church, find a chiropractor. We succeeded in the first two but before we could chose a chiropractor, I became ill with a sinus infection. It was no ordinary sinus infection, however, and the treatment involved surgery and 4 months of medications.
I went into surgery in excellent physical shape. I was at a healthy weight, was lifting weights 3 times a week, walking/jogging and playing with my kids energetically. But the surgery and recovery and medications took their toll on my body. As you know, Dr. Daily my shoulder rotator was irritated, the range of motion in my neck was limited, my energy was low and I just felt terrible.
The best thing I did in that time post-surgery -- when I felt so tired and so nauseated (medication-induced but perhaps also a subluxation issue) -- was to go online and through the phone book and find you.
Adrienne talked to me on the phone initially and she was so understanding and kind. What a great first impression! She directed me to your website when I asked for more information about your approach to chiropractic. And what a great, clean, informative, professional site it is.
It had been months since my last adjustment 9 states away and within 2 adjustments, my discomfort was easing and my energy was returning. Now that I am off the medication, I feel like our work together is really speeding me back to wellness.
I am happy to endorse you to anyone seeking a quality chiropractor. Your professional care has been excellent and your office staff has made my family feel welcome each time we have visited.
I am looking forward not only to completing our initial treatment plan together but also to continuing an ongoing family maintenance plan with you. Sincerely,
Catherine
